Preschool Ministry

At Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, we recognize that children are a gift from God. We recognize the responsibility that accompanies this gift. We want to evangelize and disciple your children. We also realize that the church must partner with you and support you as you lay the foundation on which your child will build his or her life.

The purpose of our preschool ministry is to help each child:

  • Associate God, Jesus, and the Bible with happy feelings.
  • To make progress in solving problems, sharing, and expressing self.
  • To know that the Bible is a special book that tells about God and Jesus.
  • To think of church as the happy place.
  • To begin thinking of others and adjusting to their interests.

These objectives and concepts are taught through the use of activity areas: art, blocks, books, home living, music, natural world, and puzzles.
